The annual Emmy CARE Awards are a highlight of our year. This is when we recognise those staff who have gone ‘above and beyond’ and those who have achieved significant years of service milestones.
This year we introduced a new award, initiated by Emmy’s President, Rod Nirens. Rod wanted
to honour someone whose passion and energy are truly contagious. The President’s Award
celebrates not just excellence, but the kind of leadership and warmth that inspires us all.

His artistry has transformed our high teas
and staff-catered events into standout experiences, indulgent and unforgettable.
Not only excelling for special events, residents are savouring Rohan’s fresh breads and desserts each day in the dining room. One of the most loved additions is the freshly baked focaccia, served warm with soup—simple, comforting, and full of flavour. The pastry selection rivals that of a boutique Parisian café, bringing a touch of European charm to our dining spaces.
Rohan’s dedication to quality and creativity reflects our commitment to excellence in hospitality. His work, along with the entire hospitality team, not only nourishes but also brings joy, conversation, and connection to every table. We’re incredibly proud to have Rohan as part of our team, continually elevating the culinary experience at our facility.
